The man Jamie Hyneman has received a very warm welcome from all involved at the Vernadsky Challenge 2017. He is coming in as one of the judges to assist Max Polyakov in picking the best applications. This competition that has been running since 2015 is meant to reward winners with funds and other important support, so that they could implement their ideas. Hyneman is popularly known for his role in MythBusters. He is supposed to assist in evaluating how technically viable the ideas from the finalists are and how they can act as inspiration to the next generation.
